Notice is given that Waverley Council proposes to grant leases in respect of community land to which Section 47A of the Local Government Act 1993 applies.

The proposed leases relate to the premises known as Wairoa Community Centre, 2B Brighton Boulevard, the corner of Wairoa Ave, Bondi Beach (within Lots 1419 & 1420 DP 752011), Wairoa Community Centre Reserve Trust 71808.

Council proposes to grant leases for up to five (5) years to the organisations named below.

• Bondi Beach Playgroups (activities for children up to 5 years)
• South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (early childhood health services)

Written submissions on the proposal must be sent to Waverley Council by 5pm, 14 May 2026 being not less than 28 days from the date of the notice.

Submissions must be in writing and may be either:

• Lodged online through http://haveyoursay.waverley.nsw.gov.au/ or
• Mailed to: The General Manager, Waverley Council, PO Box 9, Bondi Junction NSW 1355

In accordance with the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, all submissions received will be available for public viewing upon request.
