15 minute free ‘drop in’ zones have been installed in key locations in Bondi Beach, Bondi Junction and Charing Cross. The locations were placed on public exhibition and received support from the community.

15 minute ‘drop in’ zones provide a safe area for the drop off and pick up of friends and family and provide convenient parking for quick trips such as grabbing a coffee and picking up dry cleaning. Council officers will patrol the zones to ensure turnover and availability.

A meter ticket is not required. Just look for the P15 signs.

Council resolved at its meeting on 20 November 2018 to place on public exhibition the proposed locations of 15 minute ‘Drop In’ Zones in Bondi Junction, Charing Cross and Bondi Beach.

Members of the public are invited to provide comment on the proposed locations. Copies of the map showing the proposed locations of 15 minute ‘Drop In’ Zones are available via the Document Library on your right or can be obtained in hard copy from Council’s Customer Service Centre, 55 Spring St, Bondi Junction.

Submissions should be lodged via our feedback form below or emailed to info@waverley.nsw.gov.au. In accordance with the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 all submission received will be available for public viewing upon request.

Submissions close on 11 January at 5pm.
