Waverley Council has received an amended draft Planning Agreement, as per section 7.5 (previously 93G) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, relating to the Development Application DA-400/2021 for 194-214 Oxford Street and 2 Nelson Street, Bondi Junction.

The Planning Agreement has been amended due to a change in developer company name. There are no material changes to the content of the Planning Agreement.

The draft Planning Agreement is drafted to still provide a total contribution value of $7.45 million, comprising of a $1.15 million physical in-kind contribution (a through site link and a public plaza on the development site) and a $6.3 million cash contribution that is drafted to be assigned to items detailed in Table 1 below. The VPA was negotiated as a public benefit after the Sydney Eastern City Planning Panel approved a Planning Proposal to increase the floor space ratio from 1.5:1 to 3.5:1.
