Background
Waverley Council has received a draft Planning Agreement, as per section 7.5 (previously 93G) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, relating to the application DA-498/2017 at 87-99 Oxford Street and 16-22 Spring Street, Bondi Junction. The draft Planning Agreement would transfer 505sqm of floorspace and associated common space to provide a multi-purpose community hub and the leasing of tenancies to fund the recurrent expenditure relating to the provision of affordable housing under Waverley’s Affordable Housing Program in perpetuity.
What do we want feedback on?
All comments are welcome on the planning agreement and the public purpose being the dedication of floor space to be used in part for community uses and hypothecation of the revenue to affordable housing.
