Early in 2021 Council reached out to ask users of the park what they wanted to see in a park upgrade. Based on this feedback, a concept design was developed and made available for a second round of consultation between 25 Nov and 23 Dec 2021.

Feedback indicated that 70% of respondents were ‘very supportive or supportive' of the suggested design and some suggestions were made for minor changes. The plans have now been updated with these changes. They include a more consolidated play area to allow for an additional table and seat and a gate at the southern end of the park.

Work will now progress in preparation to make the park improvements later this year. We will keep residents updated with more details of timing once we have a construction schedule.
