Before works begin on the long-anticipated Bondi Junction cycleway, you have the opportunity to provide feedback on the Review of Environmental Factors (REF) for the project. The REF assesses the scope of the project against Clause 228 of the NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000 (EP&A Regulation).

Note, the design for this project has already been completed. The REF is a technical report, compiled upon review and in conjunction with the completed design. The REF enables a clearer understanding of the environmental impacts during construction including traffic and parking impacts, factors such as noise and vibrations, sediment control, air quality, and possible socio-economic and business impacts. This will allow Council to better plan mitigation measures to ensure this project is a success.

The REF can be viewed in the document library to your right, or can be viewed in hard copy at Council’s Customer Service Centre, 55 Spring St, Bondi Junction.

In accordance with the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 all submissions received will be available for public viewing upon request.
