Project Update

There were 149 contributions during the four-week community consultation in July 2024. The survey showed that, in general, residents in Diamond Bay Road voted for a one-way route and residents in Isabel Avenue voted against it. These outcomes are similar to a previous survey and investigation by Council, showing residents remain divided over the issue. Considering how residents living at different locations have differing views about a one-way route, further investigation is needed to ensure an satisfactory outcome for all residents.

Project Background

Council is seeking feedback regarding the Diamond Bay Road, Craig Avenue, and Isabel Avenue traffic route.

The information you provide will also help Council understand the preferences of residents and form part of a preliminary analysis of how we can better manage traffic if a one-way road system is introduced. (See below diagram).

Resident feedback will be considered alongside further technical work. Approval would also be required from the Council and Transport for NSW for any change to be implemented.
