Waverley Council has received a draft Planning Agreement, as per section 93G of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, relating to the Development Application 204/2011/B for 227-229 Old South Head Road, Bondi Junction.

About the draft Planning Agreement

The draft Planning Agreement would provide a cash contribution of $150,000 to fund an upgrade to the open space area behind the development adjoining New Street, as well as an upgrade of the Thomas Hogan Reserve playground.

Next steps

Following the close of submissions, Council will collate all feedback received and decide whether to proceed with the planning agreement as exhibited or with amendments, or whether to proceed at all. If the agreement is to proceed, a report to Council will follow shortly after.
