The Community Engagement Strategy was adopted by Council in August 2023 following public exhibition. This strategy was crafted with the overarching goal of fostering inclusive and accessible community engagement practices throughout our local government area.

In line with the requirement for Council to conduct a review and update under the Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework, we have formulated improvements that enhance the strategy's impact and responsiveness to community expectations. The amended strategy will be exhibited to the public for a 28-day consultation period.
