Before we finalise the proposed amendment in the Development Control Plan (DCP), Council officers have decided to take additional steps to address issues raised by residents during the consultation process. Feedback was collected from 23 June - 21 July 2022.

The additional steps include:

• A peer review of the Flood Study adopted in April 2021
• A peer review of the Draft Waverley DCP (Amendment) – Flood Areas
• Individual and specific responses to submissions/inquiries
• A review of insurance and property implications for both Council and residents.

Once these steps are completed, a reported will be presented to Council for a decision in early 2023. This page will be updated as the project progresses.
