Council’s Media Policy and Social Media Policy have both been reviewed for the new term of Council. The Media Policy provides a framework for Councillors and all Council staff (including volunteers, contractors and advisory committee members) to uphold our reputation and promote Council.
The Social Media Policy provides a framework for Councillors and all Council staff with guidance when using social media. The policy also ensures responses to issues raised through Council’s social media channels are addressed in a consistent and timely manner and referred to the correct business area.
We're exhibiting our Draft Media Policy and Draft Social Media Policy between 13 November and 11 December 2024.
