Waverley Council invites experienced and emerging writers, academics, literary critics, and publishing industry professionals to submit an Expression Of Interest (EOI) to join the Mark & Evette Moran Nib Literary Award Judging Panel for a two-year tenure (May 2021 – November 2022).
The incoming judge will join the established judging panel to distinguish which of the year’s incoming nominations best meet the Nib Award specific criteria.
The Mark & Evette Moran Nib Literary Award is Waverley Council’s annual celebration of the best in Australian research and writing. Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the Nib is excited to present a total prize offering of $28,500.

Expressions of interest are to be submitted via the online form below.
Applications will first be assessed by Council staff and a shortlist presented to the Nib Advisory Group. The successful applicant will be contacted no later than 24 May 2021.
