Proposed Swimming Pool Inspection Program

Draft Swimming Pool Inspection Program The Swimming Pools Act 1992 was recently amended by the NSW Government. It requires Council to develop an inspection program to improve the compliance level of barriers around swimming pools in the Waverley local government area (LGA).

Waverley Council has prepared a draft Swimming Pool Inspection Program, and we want you to tell us what you think. The Program outlines the types of pools that will be inspected, as well as the order of inspections to be carried out by qualified pool inspectors. Swimming Pool Register

As part of the changes to the Act, swimming pool owners in Waverley must also register their swimming pools on a statewide register by 29 October 2013. For more information, please visit our website.
