Update: The Bronte House Intention to Lease item when to the 16 February Council meeting. The Council report, and community submissions received in the public exhibition period, were treated as confidential in accordance with sections of the Local Government Act 1993, however the minutes and outcome of this item are public and available to view here (starts on page 22).
Pursuant to Section 47A of the Local Government Act 1993, notice is given that Council intends to lease the premises known as Bronte House at 470 Bronte Road, Bronte NSW 2024 to Wesley Emmett van der Gardner and Anna van der Gardner for a term of five years.
The community land concerned is known as folios 8/15134- and 1/123571-part being Lot 1 in DP632454.
Bronte House will be used by the proposed tenants for residential purposes. Bronte House will also be used for open days, functions and other activities throughout the term of the proposed lease.
Members of the public are invited to view the lease proposal and make a submission in writing to the Council concerning the lease proposal within a period, not less than 28 days, specified in this notice.
