Background
Waverley Council invites you to submit an expression of interest to join as a panel member on the Waverley Business Forum.
Council is seeking two members to be part of the forum. They will join the current eight members. There is also an opportunity for an eligibility list.
Purpose of the forum
The Waverley Business Forum has been established to help foster a dynamic and resilient local economy through collaboration between Council and the business community.
The forum plays an important role in supporting Council’s strategic and operational goals by offering a platform for discussion, advice, and insights into the needs and opportunities facing local business.
Focus of the forum:
- Strengthening the local economy
- Promoting investment and innovation
- Encouraging sustainable practices
- Supporting business resilience
The forum will meet after business hours on the following dates:
- Wednesday, 16 April 2025 - COMPLETED
- Monday, 18 August 2025
- Thursday, 23 October 2025
The committee will consist of:
- The Mayor (or Mayor’s nominee) and all Councillors
- A representative from the Bondi Chamber of Commerce
- A representative from Bondi Innovation
- Ten community members who meet a minimum selection criteria below. ** Please note this EOI is to enlist two new members to join the eight existing members.
