The concept plan has been updated with consideration of your feedback. To view the amended concept, please click here.

Community Consultation Results

The community consultation revealed a mixed response to the overall proposed landscape concept. Items relating to the management of trees and the new hard paved areas were opposed and concerns were raised in relation to the proposed design. The proposed universal access upgrades and landscape works around the Community Hall were supported by the community.

Council Officers will consider all the feedback received when progressing this project. The revised concept will also address the following items, as per the 12 December 2017 Council motion.

The report to Council and the minutes of the meeting can be found here and in the document library to your right.

What happens next?

The revised concept design will be further developed for construction. This includes seeking additional specialist advice in developing the details of the design.

Council will also engage a qualified professional to develop an Ecological Restoration Action Plan for Thomas Hogan Reserve, as per the 12 December 2017 Council motion:

Proceeds with the development of a staged Ecological Restoration Action Plan for Thomas Hogan Reserve, which is cognisant of the heritage status of the reserve, to be presented to Council for adoption.
