Ashton Street, Queens Park — request for a traffic calming scheme

2 June 2021

Council has received a petition requested a traffic calming scheme on Ashton Street, Queens Park.

Let us know whether you support a speed cushion or other traffic calming scheme on the street, or whether you’d prefer the street to be left as is.

In February 2020, Council staff conducted a traffic and speed assessment of the street. The assessment reveals that Ashton street’s current performance is satisfactory. Click here to view the fact sheet outlining the results of this assessment and how it compares to the traffic flows and speed standards as determined by Transport for NSW. This information is enclosed to assist you when completing the questionnaire on your preferred option.
