Consultation has concluded
Background
Waverley Council is preparing to upgrade the South Bronte Amenities and Community Centre as part of the Bronte Park and Beach Plan of Management 2017 (POM). The appointed architects for the refurbishment and upgrade design are Panovscott.
Following two rounds of community consultation, one in July 2018 and November through December 2019, Council received feedback into how the site is used, what the community liked and what could be improved.
The consultation included:
an online survey
a Have Your Say drop in session
face to face interviews with users
extensive consultation with the Bronte Beach Community Centre Group, representing the 5 swim clubs who use the facilities.
Architects Panovscott have developed three floorplan options for the upgrade based on feedback from users and what is required in the POM. Information about the three options can be found in our frequently asked questions document on the right side of this page.
Note, this phase of feedback refers to floorplan options only and is not detailed design. A decision, based on community feedback, will be made on the preferred layout before the look and feel is designed.
Have your say by completing the survey below by Sunday 9 December, or by popping into our have your say days on:
Saturday 24 November between 8.30-11.30am
Thursday 29 November between 7.30-10.30am.
We will be on the lawn next to the amenities building. Come and say hello!
